Soulsilver Shiny Stone

MORTENSEN PAUL BIBLE "LDS" FIX Publication

In an official edition of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the King James Version ( King James Version ), published in 1979, we can learn the small steps that the Church has been in the right direction. According to the KJV 1909, the text of 1 Kings 14:24 says, "And there were also sodomites in the land, and did according to all the abominations of the nations which the Lord cast out before the children of Israel. " The traditional understanding of most, if not all, of the churches is that they are homosexuals. But contrary to what many LDS Church leaders say and teach, General Authorities say that they are male prostitutes, devotees of the pagan idolatrous worship of fertility. That, no doubt, is very different from saying that it is "gay" as they have tried to convince us to believe.
In 1 Kings 22:47, in a story about the reign of Jehoshaphat is said in the KJV , 1909, "also swept the remaining land of the sodomites that were left in time of his father Asa. " And here, again, a footnote on page on this text, in the LDS edition of the King James Version, it says that referred to homosexuals as some places still insists on making us believe, but says it is cultic male prostitutes, that is, men who prostituted themselves as part of their religion and a quite religious context. Some of us have spent much time trying to understand some things. But if we pay attention, the Church of the Lord has taken positive steps to put things in place, and made statements such as those mentioned in these examples, small steps perhaps, but they are a great advance, and that can help everyone understand that the Church will take steps to have to give at the appropriate times. Sometimes you can believe that the Church will never change on the issue of homosexuality. The reality is that if you are breast. Maybe not with the speed and urgency with which we would like, but is giving. And that's what you importarnos.Y if we are alert, we be prepared for that day when the Church recognizes that in fact the scriptures there is no condemnation against homosexuality and homosexuals. And despite the seriousness attributed to homosexuality, never, ever, the Lord has said anything about this subject. If the sin that many assume it is at least should have a clear reference in Scripture or a clear statement of our modern prophets. In vain we seek. There.
