THE MAN WITH THE HAND DRY
Mark 3:1-6

I. Introduction
A. Picking wheat on the Sabbath (2:23-28)
1. Criticism of the Pharisees.
2. The Lord of the Sabbath.
B. To the church to clarify and teach
message 1. There Jesus find and heal an afflicted man.
2. It will do so regardless of the consequences to himself.

II. Meditation
A. The condition of the man with the withered hand (v. 1)
1. His hand was dry and could not use it.
2. What made him physically withered hand.
a. Was disabled as a laborer. B.
I became dependent on others.
3. So this problem made him emotionally.
a. Made him feel timid. B.
Made him feel inferior. C.
I felt envious of those with a normal body.
4. The affliction that made him spiritually.
a. I did go to the Lord looking help. B.
We did go to church to pray. C.
Blessed is the affliction that brings us closer to God.

B. The compassion of Jesus by man (vv. 2-5)
1. See how the enemies lurk (vv. 2-5).
a. Had been aware of his compassion. B.
They knew they would stop to heal this sick man.
2. Jesus always was touched by the needs of people: your need.
3. Jesus speaks: "Arise."
a. These words bring criticism. B.
These words ask the man who has faith. C.
These words join their enemies.
4. Jesus replied: "Always a good time to do good. "
5. "Stretch out your hand."
a. That hand horrible. B.
The man wanted to show his other hand. C.
Jesus asked to see the withered hand. D.
Jesus show your weaknesses and sins.

C. The comparison of man with the withered hand with us today
1. Something in your life that you could call a withered hand.
l. Your you keep hidden.
m. It makes you feel inferior.
n. You show your strengths on an ongoing basis to hide that.

A language out of control.
