"Chile is today a model of what can happen when gay Mormons around the world rediscover their religious faith and decided to hold the identity they share," said Hugo Salinas to present the award. " And here, again, a footnote on page on this text, in the LDS edition of the King James Version, it says that referred to homosexuals as some places still insists on making us believe, but says it is cultic male prostitutes, that is, men who prostituted themselves as part of their religion and a quite religious context. Some of us have spent much time trying to understand some things. But if we pay attention, the Church of the Lord has taken positive steps to put things in place, and made statements such as those mentioned in these examples, small steps perhaps, but they are a great advance, and that can help everyone understand that the Church will take steps to have to give at the appropriate times. Sometimes you can believe that the Church will never change on the issue of homosexuality. The reality is that if you are breast. Maybe not with the speed and urgency with which we would like, but is giving.
