Affirmation Prayer

Algunos mormones consideran que las oraciones LGBT in the church tend to be formulas, selfish or hypocritical. Finally other objects (and rightly so!) The patriarchal language of most Mormon prayers (which rarely include our Mother in Heaven) or the archaic grammar of sentences Mormon "appropriate."

I am pleased to announce today the launch of the noun phrase of affirmation that my husband Juan Carlos is committed to maintain. This initiative offers LGBT Mormons, with their immediate family and friends, a way to join virtually in the care of each other in regard to the concerns and hopes. The noun phrase gives a voice to those whose voices are marginalized or excluded from the rule of the LDS Church and provides a testimony of faith and spirituality LGBT Mormon.
matter where you are in the path of life, we invite you to visit the prayer of affirmation often, perhaps every Sunday, and the prayers that apply. We also invite you to publish, if you wish, prayer requests and expressions of gratitude.
I believe that this practice has the potential to fill a need in our lives, to connect spiritually with God and with others, and help them find a new sense of unity.

Love, Hugo Salinas
